Nice room. Good food. Very clean. Nice staff and owner. The bed was a bit soft for my liking but I guess one cannot satisfy everybody in that division.

No internet. And the bowling alley is a killer if you are exhausted from a long trip and need sleep. If those two points were dealt with it would be a place to go. And I would definitely prioritise the bowling alley. If they had kept that up any longer I would have started looking for an alternative. Perhaps that is why there was no internet. 😉

"Very clean, cheap and run by lovely people."

Staff were chatty and friendly and the room was very clean. Food in the restaurant was lovely. Extremely quiet location, fresh air and a beautiful outlook over gorgeous fields from my room.

I never managed to access WiFi during my stay. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room. I stayed for 5 nights and this became a massive drag because I was jet lagged and waking up early. I started getting the car and driving to the service station around the corner for an early morning coffee.
