Gästehaus Dresden - Alte Schule Gohlis

Optimal für eine Gruppe. Ruhig gelegen, Parkplatz vor Ort. Sauber, alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Sehr originell und was Besonderes. Wir haben uns wie im Ferienlager gefühlt :-)

Warm and clean, good breakfeast. Nice people working there (although not really speaking english).

No infotmation in english inside, some misimformation about kitchen avaiability. You may reach the place by public transport from.city center (bus 68), however it is rather for peoples with car.

Clean place, nice location, friendly staff, good wifi connection.

Close walk to the Elbe, close to the market and bus to Dresden. Staff were very sweet.

Directions from the train station would have been good. The train station had a different name than the map so I missed it.

It was in the outer suburbs of Dresden, so quieter and away from sirens and traffic noise but still accessible by a 20-40 minute bus or train ride to the city. The building was interesting to look at, being a historical building and had basic facilities but that was all we needed for our short stay. The rooms were themed and we really liked our “Biology” theme, with a beautiful big print of a green forest on the wall.

There wasn’t really a shared kitchen space to use however the owner was generous to offer us to use a fridge and a kettle when we asked. You have to time your shower if you wish to have privacy as the 2 cubicles were side by side and completely see through.
