Don’t arrive at 5:30pm, you will be cast aside like a second class citizen if there is a tour bus there!

Emplacement de l'hotel. Chambre spacieuse. Lieu calme.

Le service de restauration peu typique. Pas de plats locaux proposés. Chef de rang pas très agréable. Pour la petite histoire, l'hôtesse d'accueil nous réserve la table pour 20h45. Nous arrivons 3 minutes avant et nous sommes placés à une table. Le responsable de salle arrive à 20h48 pour prendre la commande, nous n'avions pas encore choisi...d'un air arrogant il nous dit que le personnel de cuisine arrête à 21h et se permet de rajouter "Just keep in mind". Le deuxième soir nous n'avons pas mangé au restaurant de l'hotel. Le lendemain matin pour le petit déjeuner, je demande un chocolat chaud à la serveuse qui me dit qu'il n'y en a pas. LOL. OK je m'accommode. En retournant à la chambre je vois sur la table de la chambre, avec les sachets de thé, un sachet de chocolat en poudre. Je l'ai ramené pour le petit déjeuner du lendemain.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön.

Abplatzender Lack an Heizkörpern, gelbe Silikonfugen, Flecken auf der Toilettenbrille und Toilettentürgriff, ständig leeres Frühstücksbuffet, Personal, das nie lächelt und das alles für sehr sehr viel Geld. Mag sein, dass das Hotel nach der letzten Sanierung sein Geld wert war. Jetzt hat man den Eindruck der Betreiber investiert nichts und verlässt sich allein auf die Lage.

Wonderful modern interiors and a beautiful location beside the loch. A very nice bed, tasty breakfast and friendly staff. A specific thank you to the apron-wearing gentleman who, when I wished to thank the chef for the most delicious hash browns and scrambled eggs, claimed he were the hotel’s butcher, thus giving a beautiful example of the Scottish sense of humor we wished to hear to begin with.

Wall to wall carpets gave some issues with my asthma, so please keep your inhalers with u.
