Hotel Gabbani

La colazione era ottima, così come anche lo staff molto gentile. Posizione più centrale di così non si può. La camera era buona, con un bagno molto grande e aria condizionata che funzionava molto bene.

Per me il soggiorno sarebbe stato da 9 o da 10, purtroppo però si sente davvero tanto rumore proveniente dal ristorante di sotto. Le camere non sono per nulla isolate acusticamente, e per chi ha il sonno un filo leggero questo è un problema.

No water in the room. 'drink out the tap' message.... the water out of the tap could just about have boiled an egg and the water in the restaurant was 5EUR for a refilled bottle. Bit scandalous. There was a fridge in the room, why not fill/ seal and put bottles in there? Breakfast also a bit paltry.

We like the wine selection and pannettone.

Great location close to the funiculare, right in the centre. Very friendly staff .in the bakery n the ones served the buffet breakfast. Georgia the receptionist was very kind n professional, greeted us on our arrival . Thank you for upgraded the room. We stayed 3 nights n enjoyed our stay ,the Ticino transportation pass was a plus , we went to Bellinzona by train. Everything was good, except no kettle in the room Also the small bottle shower gel was not replenished for the 3 night-stay, my husband is a tall guy so it would have been good to get extra bottle after a day or two. Night time you could hear the noise in the restaurant , dragged the chairs n people talking . But it was not too much an issue for us, it stopped at our bed time after midnight.
