Great stay at the Lodges Makkum, just 3 minutes walk outside the center of the village. There is a small kitchen and laundry facilities free of charge.

Nothing wasn't a good experience at all

Room was uncomfortable. No view Staff are not accommodating You are staying in warehouse in small Wendy house with shower and toilet!

It was a really quaint hotel, nice cabins inside a warehouse. Very cosy. Also great kitchen that we could use, microwave, oven, fridge and a place to sit inside and outside.

It was a bit colder so we used the small electric heater, which supplied warmth, but it was a bit noisy. But all good.

Staff were great letting us use the washer and drier and even giving us some detergent. The idea is really quirky with wooden lodges inside an industrial unit. It was quiet during our visit. A good location to access the town centre and great that bikes can be stored indoors near your lodge. The kitchen area is useful and has plenty of plates , cups etc The little veranda on each room is nice if you don't want to be in the room all the time

The bathroom area could have done with a more thorough clean, there was red mould on ledges and corners. The outside sitting area needs a spruce up with weeds and cigarette ends on the floor. It would be a lovely place to sit on a summer evening with a little effort and the front tidied to make it more welcoming

The bed was good

The noise level is terrible. It's so noisy due to the cheap construction. The bathrooms are horrible because you can hear your neighbor' s bathroom sounds in your room. Nightmare! The wooden cabin had wooden floors without dampening so every step your neighbor does, you will hear it.
