Hotel Hidalgo

Very disappointment with the recent experience I had at the hotel during a reservation made for two rooms for one night. Upon arriving at the front desk, I was informed that an additional two rooms were reserved for two nights and that payment for these extra rooms was required for check-in. Unfortunately, the communication barrier due to the front desk staff's limited proficiency in English made it extremely challenging to address the situation. This unexpected demand for payment for unrequested rooms and the difficulty in communication left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. I believe that clear and accurate communication is crucial in the hospitality industry to ensure a positive experience for guests.

The two members of staff were very pleasant.

I paid £100 a night for a room. I had to run the water for 15 minutes to have it hot. No English tv. No services as such. Breakfast was extra. All I had was a juice and a coffee and I was charged anyway. I was just about the only guest. I'm sorry to be so negative but I felt ripped off and can not reccomend this hotel.

it's location is perfect for the town right beside the park and the street with most if the restaurants .

The owner is very nice, this is my third time here, they always give me a warm welcome by handshake. Comfortable and old-fashioned hotel, clean and quiet place.

The lift should have some routine maintenance, would be much better.

amazing place more like a museum. friendly hosts and parking for Moto behind gates. short walk to centre with large choice of bars and restaurants, although the hill back is steep. Martos is a nice place

no English channels on TV but that’s not unusual for this part of Spain
