Good location and decent pub downstairs.

The lighting was terrible. Extreme bright white floodlight at the back blinded me coming in and also the hall lights were mega bright white and remained on all night. The light pierced into bedroom around the door. The bed wasn't comfortable and there wasn't a bedside light to get some relief from the bright florescent light in room. There was also not enough milk for tea only one tiny sachet and an empty one. One needs at least 2 or 3 of these to have a good cuppa. Being a Friday night the pub downstairs was loud until 3 am which is something people should think about if booking here

The food was excellent. Very tasty and great value for money. A very wide selection of choices too.

We got a very spare room which was great value so I knew what I was getting. But I should have paid more to get a bathroom.

Room was very small, cold , heating did not work, mattress was hard and uncomfortable ,1 flimsy blanket ( 2 very cold night ) doors slamming closed all thru out night up and down corridor , cold shower no hot water !! I spent 2 very cold uncomfortable nights !under bed were someone’s dirty socks and cobwebs ?? Not a nice stay unfortunately .🤨

Location was excellent and the vibes within were good. The staff were very good, helpful, and made me feel welcome. The food from Erics was good quality

The room was basic, not even a chair supplied. To reach the light at night was awkward would like a bed side light
