Gimmi Hotel

My mom and I had a lovely week long stay at Gimmi Hotel just as the seaside season kicks off in June. The room was as nice as advertised: it felt like a luxury to have an open view of the sunrise and to cross the street and be on the beach in 2min every day! At the same time, great that we could close the balcony doors and shut out any noise from the world outside and get some silence and proper rest. The other reviews are true, it is maintained impeccably by the Davide and the kind and attentive staff. Our room was cleaned perfectly every day. The breakfast was good, especially the coffee, and really nice to have it on the terrace. We appreciated the beach towels and I also loved the offer to take the bike out for a spin on the promenade towards Rimini! The hotel is easily accessible by bus or train from Rimini, with both stops about 5min away, so day trips are easy if that's your thing. Thanks for everything to the staff, who were always available for questions and advice. I'd definitely recommend a stay here! :)

Everything was great, just a couple of bits of feedback that are very much personal preferences more than anything else: > The breakfast was great, more on the sweet side of course like Italians like it :), but it would've been great if there were some fresh veggies (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers for ex) and some egg based options as well (nothing fancy, even boiled would've been fine). > As an avid tea drinker, it would have been nice to have a kettle and two mugs in the room so I wouldn't have to bother the staff each time I wanted some hot water :) > The wifi was a bit patchy overall, so keep in mind if you want to work remotely from here, but on holiday it can end up being a good thing to help you disconnect.

Super Lage, super Frühstück und sehr bemühte Gastgeber!

Nous venons à peine de partir, avec regret. Tout y était parfait. Davide et ses parents ont été d'une gentillesse incroyable, d'une disponibilité comme nous ne trouvons pas en France. Ils aiment leur région et savent le transmettre. Davide, le gestionnaire de l'hôtel est vraiment sympathique, toujours à l'écoute, de très bon conseil, nous avons apprécié chaque moment. Il y fait bon vivre. Chaque jour le ménage a été fait, les serviettes changées. Le petit déjeuner copieux avec des produits locaux, des gâteaux faits main par la maman, la chambre spacieuse et lumineuse La situation de l'hôtel est parfaite, 20m sont à faire pour être sûr les différentes plages privées, pareil pour les restaurants (sous les bons conseils de l'hôtel nous avons vraiment bien mangé) Merci à cette famille qui tient l'hôtel, une générosité italienne qui nous fait déjà regretter notre départ mais nous reviendrons c'est sur !

Absolument rien à reprocher

This accommodation was absolutely exceptional. The host Davide was very nice, professional and helpful. Thank you for the super tips and recommendations. His parents were also friendly and his mom always baked something good for breakfast. Great communication, wonderful accommodation and peaceful surroundings. And as a bonus, it is right on the beach, both private and public, where you can have your own parasol. We had a paid room with a partial sea view and it was absolutely amazing. You can also rent city bikes as part of your stay, which we used one day to take a trip along the bike path right next to the promenade all the way to Rimini. Parking was located about 5 mins from the hotel, but there was a 24 hour shuttle from the car park to the hotel and back within the parking (7 euros per day). The breakfast was absolutely perfect. The only thing we would recommend for a longer stay is to vary the breakfast (eggs, bacon..) or add vegetables. The cleaning lady was in the room every day, took out the baskets, made the bed and brought new towels, she could just be a little more careful in terms of cleaning, but overall we were satisfied. What we really appreciated are the soundproofed rooms, so noise from the adjoining rooms or outside was not audible at all, only from the hallway. There are many restaurants and bars in the area. We were only here for 5 nights unfortunately, but would have loved to stay longer for sure if we could. Thank you for a great stay and we would love to return again soon.
