Roof in the bathroom was leaking. Ammenties not kept in the room. Pictures of the room don't match the actual room.

The bed. The lights in the room. Location.

Size of the room. It's very compact. And we had a horrible smell emiting out of the bathroom for the single night we stayed there.

I wanted to camp at a place that was close to the station and was easily accessible to some of my favourite eateries. Nova Boutique was a really good choice from that perspective. The staff is very cooperative and the room was neat and tidy with basic amenities. Perfect for someone looking for a budget friendly hotel and attentive staff.

We booked this "suite" as we wanted to soak in a bath after a day of hectic travel. The room we were put in first was definitely not a suite, and the bath tub was not working well - we couldn't get any hot water. Room staff were great, and worked hard to find the problem, and got the hot water working eventually, but it took about an hour or two to fill, and then we discovered that some of the jets were not working. So we were moved to another room, but we had to wait again for the hot water, and it was intermittent. Eventually we got some sort of bath in the new room. The new room itself was great, much more like the suite we were expecting: big bed, roomy, well appointed, a couple of sitting areas.

The receptionist! She was somewhat rude and unpleasant on our arrival - more interested in chatting with her colleague than with attending to us. Definitely not welcoming. She also insisted on seeing our visa when it was already in the passport she was holding. It didn't seem like she was very familiar with reception processes. As well, the initial room didn't live up to the description - was supposed to be 2 rooms plus bathroom with a spa tub, and include a minibar - the room we were put in first did not have these things, and was smaller than the photos. The second room we went to still didn't have everything, but it was bigger, with 2 sitting areas, and matched the photos more closely. We discussed the lack of matching of facilities with the manager and they ended up giving us free breakfast to compensate, and assured us they would update the descriptions.
