Hôtel Lion d'Or Romont

Location ideal.

Common areas could use a bit of an update, but the rooms themselves were excellent

Very good bathroom and shower. Nice towels, toiletries etc. Nice bedding

First impressions of room disappointing. Dated furniture. No lift.

Breakfast was sub-par. Cheese and meat just nothing special

No elevator and 3rd floor room.

A small hotel in the centre of the old town with a view over the city walls. Room and bathroom decor was a bit tired but not a bad place for a one night stopover. The curry dinner was a nice change although quite pricey as you would expect in Switzerland! Free parking in the square outside

The room was very quiet with an idyllic view facing pasture and hills. It was clean and had a nice table for working. The host was super friendly and helpful in all possible regards. Moreover, the location of the place is super central. I would definitely book a room in this hotel again.
