Shipka IT Hotel

Amazing cosy place with the nicest owner I could imagine! We were chatting about the local area and her sons and she asked me when I wanted breakfast :) The room was big and nice and the breakfast was great! The terrace view is also so nice and peaceful looking over the landscape. It is close to the Buzludzha monument too if you have a car so It makes an excellent base.

The place is very clean, comfortable and very nice. Great views, easy parking on the same street. Amazing breakfast. But the best of all is the kindness of the owner. We definitely recommend it!!

Room was a bit smelly.

Lovely large room - although some of the decor was older, it was all very clean and well presented. Good air conditioning system kept the room nice and warm. 2 doors separating the hotel corridor and the main bedroom, (bathroom and wardrobe in between) so it was beautifully quiet. Free parking on the road (the owners will assist to make sure you are parked safely). In the morning i was made a beautifully presented, abundant breakfast for only 10BGN additional, which set me up for my day. Both owners are friendly and want to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, and reminded me of staying with family. Ideal spot for my stop over to see buzludzha monument and shipka church.

Bathroom seemed to have a leak/poor connection underneath the shower tray as it bounced standing on it, and water pooled on the floor, as the shower ran, from underneath. The hotel is investing in some upgrades, as seen by the work in the garden and on the back of the house, so I'm hoping its something they are aware of and are sorting ready for the summer anyway :)
