"wonderful place"

The interior was beautiful and the staff was extremely welcoming. The food was amazing. The decor was exquisite and there were many community areas. The animals on the property were friendly and comforting.

The grounds could use a little work towards the edges.

Amazing place. Great room and veranda area. I even enjoyed the cats…and I hate cats! Breakfast was out of this world.

Wonderful and beautiful place to stay! Was initially trying to stay at Chicken Ranch but it was all booked so settled here and it was the best decision. Such a great lovely place with beautiful grounds and Rhonda was so amazing and accommodating! Already shared this place with others and will definitely be back again.

This is a unique property. It’s a short walk down the hill to the historic downtown of Sonora. There are large sitting rooms that we were able to use during the day and in the evening. So much more comfortable than a traditional hotel. Wonderful breakfasts included. The furniture and decor are over-the-top late Victorian, but that’s part of the charm.
