Hotel Punta Sur

Beautiful hotel with a truly wonderful garden. The trees, flowers, peacocks and birds kept our one year old very entertained and she loved toddling around the garden. Our room was huge and comfortable and air con was good. Good location less than 10 min drive from Tarifa, and a couple mins drive from top beaches.

Not in any way the hotel’s fault but the pool was pretty cold, it’s not heated and fairly large so when we went was too cold for our one-year-old to swim in. Older kids were playing in it though and it was nice to swim in for maybe 5-10 mins at a time. Perhaps if the weather had been warmer in the weeks before our stay the water would be warmer (this was in late May, weather was around 23-25 degree C.). Breakfast was nice but didn’t have any hot options, just continental.

Check in was easy and fast. Room lovely and spacious and quiet, had an extra bed for my child. Excellent pool area to chill and relax. Restaurant food is excellent.

Coffee brand they use wasn't that nice! :/ Had to drive to beach or to town for shopping and dinner out. But thats not really an issue for us. But there was not much to dislike.

Le camere sono disseminate nel giardino che circonda il corpo centrale dell’hotel, dove si trovano piscina e campo da tennis. Parcheggio nei viali interni. Buona e completa la colazione a buffet.

Mobili della camera molto datati, non all’altezza del livello dell’hotel. Bagno altrettanto datato, con vasca uso doccia priva di maniglia di appoggio e sicurezza. Neanche una bottiglietta d’acqua di cortesia o dispenser per i clienti. Interruzione elettricità per tutta la notte fino alle 7.30 ( il generatore ?) segnalata alla reception al nostro risveglio e ripristinata .
