Clean and comfy and our room at back was lovely and quiet. There for work so just needed an overnight stay so this was perfect. Parking next door at The Plough was ideal.

Car parking arrangement with the Plough next door was very helpful. Digital entry system worked well. Bed comfy and room very clean Good room facilities with communal fridge use in corridor Close to Barter books and a short walk to centre of town and castle although outside old gate

Quite noisy at road front - especially with ambulance cut through from A1 but quiet during core sleeping hours Room 1 compact but reasonable with cupboard for hanging clothes Bathroom strange linear shape with noisy pumped drainage and a slight untoward smell Shower not brilliant at delivering hot water Check out by 10:00 a little early - 10:30 would have been welcomed.

Badkamer was heel koud, wat verouderd.

It's a really nice looking place to stay. The pub next door is great. The room itself is clean and essentially has everything that you need.

You can hear everything. I stayed for two nights, and my sleep was disrupted both nights. First night: People in the room upstairs were singing at 1:00 a.m. Second night: Someone else in the property was having a domestic, and you could hear everything else too, from phone calls, TVs in other rooms to people flushing the toilets. Not great for light sleepers.
