USStaying in Spiez instead of Interlaken was probably the best decision I made for my trip in Switzerland! The hotel is just a small room with a twin size bed but it's clean and comfortable. The owner and the staffs at the pizzeria don't speak English, but the owner's daughter can speak some and helped with my check in. They are all very nice and friendly.

GBGBGBThe rooms are on the second floor, the first floor is a doctors, the ground floor a very nice Italian pizzeria restaurtant, where you check in, it was quite quiet so the restaurant was closing at about 2130, not sure how you would check in if it was closed.
Awful poor quality squeaky pillows.
