Làng Nương Yên Tử (Yên Tử Village)

This village is amazing. We climbed the Yen Tu mountain and enjoyed walking in the village.

Very relaxing place, beautifully landscaped. We had a room with balcony next to the stream, which was lovely to hear. Electric buggies available to take guests to cable cars. Breakfast buffet had a great variety.

The rooms are small and dark. The meat dishes at the restaurant not so great, and at the weekends, only the set menu was available so limited choice. The pop up swimming pool was not functioning generally, would have been perfect if it was.

Prachtige, rustige groene omgeving. Het dorp houdt het midden tussen een tempelcomplex en een vakantiepark, met een flinke vleug Efteling. Je moet ervan houden; de Vietnamezen kunnen het volop waarderen. Ik vond het wel prettig rustgevend, vooral toen de dagjesmensen naar huis waren. De kamer is wat klein voor de prijs. De bedden in bedsteevorm zijn rustiek maar de matrassen zijn oncomfortabel. Erg vriendelijk en meedenkend personeel. Zij regelden een taxi terug naar Hanoi op ons verzoek.

Op de website van Yen Tu village worden vijf restaurants genoemd. In werkelijkheid is er maar één in bedrijf. De bediening verloopt chaotisch en de kwaliteit is erg matig. De grootste tegenvaller is het ontbijt: weinig keuze, vet vlees, geen brood en vreselijke koffie. Dat moet echt beter. Ik zag anderen, net als ik, hun toevlucht nemen tot de Highlands Coffee shop naast het restaurant.

Amazing settings, both the complex's ground and the surrounding mountains. Reception staff are nice. It is a unique place.

The path to our buiding, Huong Nhai, and the steps outside the building are badly lit. This is very dangerous. When I came out of the building the evening we arrived, I forgot about the steps and nearly fell.
