The triple glazing is remarkably effective for cutting out room noise, the air conditioner was both efficient and quiet and the bed very comfortable. Spacious out door parking. The location is great with numerous restaurants less than 10 mins stroll away.

There are a few rooms on the ground floor, and other rooms like ours on the 3rd floor are accessed by stairs only - no lift - so haul your bags. The bathroom was good, but the facilities were tired. The shower door frame was mouldy and the shower rose was leaking badly; inadequate lighting at the sink (although to be fair, that is a bugbear in almost every hotel room); no amenities pack. No table or chair to work or eat at. Inadequate illumination at the 'coffee bar'. Although I am not a fan of Nespresso, it is absolutely a step above the filter coffee provided, and means there is no way to heat milk. The milk provided was barely adequate for 2 cups of coffee and 1/2 cup of cereal

A beautiful hotel and the rooms are spacious and do beautifully appointed. We especially appreciated being able to take our puppy with us and staying in a gorgeous room.

I would love there to be outdoor eating so we could enjoy the restaurant with our puppy but I understand there really isn’t capacity to do this at Hotel Earnest due to its location.
