Jade Ha Long Hotel

The village was beautiful, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and spacious with a good amount of storage. It was very good value for money.

It turns out the village is nearly empty, with many buildings unfinished, so meant restaurants and shops weren't close by.

Rooftop terrace and comfy beds

The staff wasnt welcoming or helpful. We had to ask ourselves to get to the room, internet access, no concierge is offered. They also didnt clean the room for one day due to lack of the keys. We were not asked and/or informed about lady watering flowers on our private terrace. She just came in herself. Plus, when we werent satisfied with stay because of their attitude, we decided to leave one day earlier. The reception did not bother to ask what was wrong or no communication and help for the luggage was offered. I guess for this price you get respective service.

Not close to many shops or restaraunts but could get a Grab taxi easily and cheaply

Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable just what we needed !

It would be in a good location only the buildings around are closed down. But this seems to be the way In a lot of Halong. This location was right beside the beach and a gym across the road so we were happy for some chill time !

Clean and new hotel rooms. Walking distance to the beach. We had very nice sunset walks. The hotel staff let us rent a bike so we got to explore Ha Long City and go over the bridge (where we spent most of our free time). It is in a developing tourist area, so if you’re looking for more of a local experience, look elsewhere.

It’s not anything to do w/ the hotel itself but the location is around a lot of new construction so it was very loud starting around 6am (understandable as it’s May / summer heat). Also the gym across the street blairs music at 5:30am for a morning class so if you want to sleep in request a room towards the back of the hotel. In terms of location, if you’re looking for a more locals experience stay outside of this area. We weren’t able to cancel as we booked online but if we could have we would have stayed over the bridge as we spent more time in Bach Dang.
