Wonderful staff and grounds. Beautiful stopover for travelling

A bit of Air Conditioning would have been nice.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. It is possible to walk down to a small lake and encounter the local geese. The restaurant was first class and the food delicious. Parking was easy.

There was no place to just sit and have a drink, without being in the restaurant. The food was delicious, but the price might not suit everyone and there were no other options. The staff were helpful but it appeared they had processes to follow that were more important than pleasing the customer! Everything required was supplied but at a minimum.

Needs a a make over as parts were looking tired. No reception cover on a Sunday - only a number outside which didn’t respond and a code to get in which didn’t work at the time (I wasn’t given a code at check in and relied on another guest who had the code but also was locked out). Luckily another guest was walking out and the door then opened. The staff who dealt with my complaint were very good and the rest of the stay was good.

I appreciated the beautiful natural surroundings in which the property is set

Breakfast was practically non-existent: a lot of emphasis on appearance, but very little substance. The room was poorly lit; even at the entrance it was difficult to see due to the dark purple walls and the extremely dim lighting. The lack of proper lighting also highlighted a level of cleanliness that fell below expectations. Although the bed had been made, the shower had not been cleaned. In addition, only one set of towels was provided: one bath towel and one towel for the rest The hotel's restaurant was also disappointing, offering a very limited selection of dishes.

Da die Unterkumft am See gelegen ist, sind die Stechmücken ein Problem. Meine Nacht war mit gefühlt 20 Mücken im Zimmer ziemlich unruhig

Prima restaurant en goed personeel. Kamer met goed bed en ruime badkamer. Tip: een laadpaal voor elektrische auto’s plaatsen, want in de directe omgeving is niets.

Onze kamer lag boven de ingang en dat was soms lawaaiig. Ook had deze kamer niet het mooie “lake view” wat wij geboekt hadden.
