Das kleine Grindel

Amazing value for the money. It’s basically an apartment with balcony area in a quiet courtyard. The room is so beautifully decorated with foam mattress, kitchen sink, kettle, fridge, safe, slipper, bathrobe, free tea, coffee, even coke, milk and muesli. You check in at nearby cafe. However, the owner is not on site so it’s really like Airbnb. So the package I sent to myself was supposedly delivered to the hotel address but no one knows and forever lost. I should have communicated with the owner beforehand.

Quiet location. Beautiful courtyard. Great shower. Well styled. Café Leonar has delicious coffee and food!! Midnight check-in due to very late DB train

The bed was lumpy in the middle.

The room was comfy and clean with updated amenities and a comfy bed. A daily cleaning service. Complementary minibar items (soda, cereals, milk). Nice patio to sit outside. nicely located near coffee shops and restaurants.

No air conditioning. The windows are facing the patio which serves the passage for newgbor building. Check-in and check-out take place at the neighboring cafe. Unfortunately, the key fob didn't work once when I came back to the unit late at night. Luckily, the staff at the restaurant nearby were still there, and they could provide me with an actual key. All of these minimally affected the experience, and overall, it was a pleasant stay.

GREAT LOCATION, SHAME IT RAINDED AS WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO SAT OUT THE STAFF AT THE RESTURANT WERE VERY NICE AND SO HELPFULL. THANK YOU
