The lady at the front desk didn't speak an ounce of English

Good hotel situated near downtown.

I called them before arriving and the receptionist confirmed that everything was ok. But in fact they lie a lot, our room was given to other people and we must decide between both rooms. The AC doesn't work, after all promises nothing changed. The compliment was the discount of the next room with 10lv(90lv paid). We were lucky that the weather wasn't too hot 🔥. The shower wire is too short, you can't get a fresh shower on all the body.

The hotel was closed. There was no staff. I had to look for another hotel during the night

Got out of the elevator on the 1st floor to be greeted by jungle wallpaper, the face of a leopard and a backlit African sunset on the ceiling. Got into our room to find a huge lion looking at us and all bedsheets and pillows covered in lions. If you like this kind of kitch then this hotel will blow you away and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE this kind of kitch! The place was spotless and everything worked. Lots of thought has gone into the design of this hotel and the staff were very attentive.

Slightly closer to the centre would be good but can't do anything about that. Same with our balcony overlooking a busy road. Not a big deal but worth a mention. Small gripes but made up for by a really lovely hotel and staff.
