Hotel - Restauracja "SŁONECZNA"

Clean,tidy, welcoming place, staff were lovely and friendly also very helpful

On the day that i arrived, Fri 17th I went to the restaurant, and I ordered a dish with fried rolled chicken at the restaurant, and unfortunately, the chicken was spoiled with a horrible smell. I complained to a couple of waiters but they didn't say anything about it. They just took the dish to the kitchen and didn't offer me anything else. On Sat night, 18th, I've paid my bill because I had to check out on Sunday very early morning, and the dish was charged on my bill 38 zloty. I didn't make another complaint because the restaurant was too busy and i didn't want to bother the waiter, there were only two of them. I was thinking of complaining that Sunday morning, but there was nobody at the reception at that time :/ Unfortunately they didn't know the basic of customer service, they served a chicken out of date, smelling disgusting and they didn't offered me anything instead and on top of that they charged me the dish. Unbelievable!

The hotel is decent for the price point. My room was clean and had everything I needed. Easy to check in and out, big room. If you just need somewhere to sleep (but still your own room with a bathroom) and you're on a budget, this is everything you need. For a business trip, I wouldn't mind paying more for better standard.

Minor things. Would have appreciated some vegan options at breakfast (I did not ask). There was bread and jam and some vegetables. The cold drinks, juices/water at the breakfast had a very stange taste, I could not get myself to finish them. Cannot say if it was the water or something else. Water preassure in the shower was low. It would have been less noticable if the shower head wasn't placed so high. I am not a short person. Maybe there could be 2 different heights to place the shower head that would improve this. Towels were clean but very well used. If I had such a worn towel (with holes) at home, I would start using it as a cleaning cloth. Nothing I would offer to guests. Suggestion to have an extra socket next to the bed. 1 for the lamp, 1 for personal Electronics. Now I had to unplug the lamp to charge my phone.

The bedroom was spacious.

The breakfast was the worst I have ever witnessed in a hotel. Breakfast begins at 07:00 and I was down at this time. No servers or employees around - multiple flies were present on the meat and bread left out on the table. The poached eggs were cold in the container. (They were being hot-held by two candles!!). I made a coffee from the machine and grabbed the milk jug, to pour some milk into the coffee, only to find a dead fly floating in the milk jug. Disgusting. The water was cold in the shower and took approximately 3-5 minutes to get lukewarm.
