Hotel Centre Point

Very friendly staff, old typical haweli structure with large rooms, beds and washrooms. Location- Is right next to the street, Clock tower is at walkable distance (approx 10 mins).

Traffic noise - As the property is located right next to the street this has both merit and demerit, demerit here is the traffic noises. Every other thing was perfect.

Had booked the complimentary breakfast it was seriously delicious. Whether it be parathas or puri sabzi the taste was great. Room service was great. The hotel staff was friendly and provided all assistance we asked for.

Would really appreciate if there was a liquid handwash provided in every room. And, also there was a slight smell of cigarettes which caused a bit of headache. Also, some water from the AC duct was seeping on the drawing room floor. Rest everything else was great.

There is not much we liked. the hotel is close to the train station so convenient for the late arrivals. The food was good and well priced. Big room.

The check-in in to the hotel was a nightmare and took around 30 minutes . The receptionist took a very long time going through our documents and asked many unnecessary questions. He tried to convinced us to take a picture on their computer for some police form. This was a first time after 2 weeks in India we were asked to do something like that. ( we refused). The bedding in the room was filthy-stains on the bedsheet, dirty pillowcases with hair on them. They changed it after our complain. After we checked out, they started calling us saying that my partner's visa is expired which of course was not . They just dint know/understand how e-visa works (ETA and date of entry). They were harassing us through phone and WhatsApp. This hotel is definitely not accustom to foreign visitors.

Staff tried to attack my friend with a glass bottle for no reason and was talking as if he was psychologically ill. Be careful if you are booking this stay. Wouldn’t recommend it
