Good location, great staff, restaurant was absolutely perfect for dinner

poor selection for breakfast. The rest was perfect.

Our first breakfast was simply 2 pancakes and a piece of cheese - no drinks were offered. No staff available. Our second breakfast was better but I had to make our own instant coffee. The Bulgarian people seem to get better breakfast options.

The hotel is above the village on a really bad road: the car park opposite is rough ground and is used by all. The village has a serious water problem as a result of a massive flood a couple of years ago, it destroyed the infastructure apparently. There was no running water for either washing / bathing or toilets. We had six buckets of water left outside our room door for washing and flushing the toilet with. They kept promising the water would be turned on by the evening but it did not. We left after two days. The grounds are lovely, beautiful gardens, although the area around is full of litter.

Breakfast was very nice and served to order. Room was quite large. The restaurant and grounds of the hotel were well maintained.

There was no one at reception most of time which made it difficult to address small things (like insufficient towels/toilet paper). Room is facing the entrance so can be a bit noisy. Strangely there is no shower curtain so the whole of the large bathroom gets wet.

The view from the balcony on the mountains and valley was great, the rooms good and the restaurant excellent.

Google maps sent us on the wrong, steepy and rocky road. After reorientation we found the good and much better road.

Liked everything about the stay, but the breakfast might be better (we were offered only traditional banitsa with sour milk, which was not enough).
