Not Recommended – Extremely Poor Value for Money The hotel’s location is decent and transportation is fairly convenient, but the overall stay was very disappointing. At this price point, it is far too expensive and offers extremely poor value, making it not worth recommending. First of all, the room was very small and clearly outdated, with poorly maintained facilities. The soundproofing was terrible—you could clearly hear noises from the hallway and conversations from neighboring rooms. The bathroom exhaust fan was broken. Although we called hotel staff to repair it, it was never fixed, and they even left a used chair they had stepped on in the bathroom without any follow-up. We had to move it back ourselves. The air conditioner was extremely noisy, and at night it made loud banging sounds that seriously affected our sleep quality. Breakfast was not included in the room rate. We visited the hotel bar in the evening, but the cocktails were mediocre and overpriced—again, poor value. The most disappointing part was the front desk service during checkout. They gave unclear explanations about the charges, the bill was not transparent, and they didn’t even provide an official invoice. The handling was very unprofessional. Overall, this stay was a terrible experience—outdated facilities, subpar service, and unreasonably high prices. We will not return and do not recommend it to others.

The door to my room would not close. It took me placing my shoulder against the door to slam it. Complained multiple times and they finally “fixed” it. However the next morning it took me 5 minutes to try and get out of the room! The door lock and frame looked like it had been quite abused before, so I am certain this was not a new problem. As a woman travelling alone this was not acceptable. Also, the lamp by the bed didn’t work. In the morning I went to use the gym and there was no air conditioning despite it being 26 degrees outside. I called the front desk and was told they would send someone right away. No one came. Me and one other person ended up working out in the blistering heat. I paid close to $500 for this room for one night.

The lack of preparation for our arrival as well as lack of training skills for those at Check in. We were told to arrive earlier than 4 pm as rooms were available; however, after waiting beyond 4:30 pm those in charge couldn’t get us into a room. Eventually we checked in after hours waiting. Additionally, late at night on the 4 th floor a couple spent more than an hour cursing and swearing at each other in the hallway. I got up from bed at 11:30 pm In search of security but no one available. What a disaster as we had hoped for a special evening which turned into a nightmare !!!! There should at least be someone from management around even on a holiday weekend. Poor planning on the managements part
