Due to a last minute problem we came two instead of three without previous notice. The staff spontaneously proposed to reduce the rate, although we still used the large room planned for three.

They have a nice garage to lock up our bike.

Breakfast was just okay

Room was very clean, recently refurbished, very well designed contemporary fittings, nice bathroom. Friendly staff on reception, good selection of food at breakfast, open view from the window. Walking distance south to the station and north to the old town and shops, restaurants, and beyond that to the Moselle and Rhine waterfronts. Very good value for money.

Minor things. Family-run hotel so reception closed at 7pm, and they didn’t take card payments. Not a problem, they were clear about this from the outset, but we changed our plans a bit to be sure of arriving on time. I struggled with the pillows, husband thought they were ok.
