The Sky Hometel

Good location, surrounded by bars and restaurants, very close to the beach. The bed was very comfortable.

The staff were not very friendly or welcoming. They did not explain anything about the room, with light switches for the main light hidden behind the curtains. They were also very poor at communicating, only reply to our many messages about a transfer from the pier an hour before we arrived. They also did not quote the price correctly, making the taxi drivers request a shock, with no apology for the misunderstanding just simply demanding more money from us. There is damp and visibly moulding / crumbling floor boards in the room. They clearly leave the windows and doors open prior to arrival, as the room had many mosquitoes in it.

Location is good, but Is little difficult to find at the beginning ( behind the pharmacy) Price.

The windows in the room didn't close well, so the room was hot. Nevertheless have ac and fan.

Great location, my room was clean and comfortable. Hosts were very helpful and let me leave my bags there until I left on the ferry. Room was decent size.

Maybe a little more on the expensive side for what I’ve paid for in other places but would still stay again.

Nice and clean room, but nothing special. Great kitchen area where you can prepare your food and hang out. Location is also great, near the main streets but still quiet.

The reception is in the downstairs farmacy. That was a bit confusing at first. But they are very friendly. :)

The Sky Hometel is a very cozy hotel. There are not many rooms and you have a small kitchen and sitting area that you share with the rest of the guests. It's very central, but you won't hear any of the noice from the nightclubs. It only takes two minutes for you to go to the beach. If you have any questions you can always ask the host for help:)

We loved the whole staff working at sky hometel, and the beautiful space they provided. We ended up staying for 2 weeks while doing our diving courses, and cannot wait to return again soon!! Thank you for being our home in koh Tao ❤️
