When I ordered for ala carte food for dinner, it was a disappointment. The chicken salt and pepper dish were extremely salty. Being a hotelier myself, I understand mistakes do happen, but what surprised me was the reply of the associate who took my call, when I called room service to inform them about the salty dish. He infact put the blame back on me, by telling me, that I should have informed them while placing the order that I required less salt in my food. He conveniently ignored the fact that the salt was way above what a normal person could consume. Infact I was so upset after hearing him, I just returned the dish and did not seek any replacement. This episode could have been avoided, if in the first place they would have just accepted the mistake and I would have let it go.
