Friendly owner, good price for a room

Nothing in particular, maybe towels could be replaced

The room and bathroom were quite spacious. Staff were helpful when you could find them. The pool was quite pleasant to lounge by for an afternoon. Breakfast was simple, but filling.

The hotel is owned by a helpful Sri Lankan man. However, often he could not be found on the property and his staff did not speak very much English. I had a serious back issue which made walking very painful. On the first day, he promised to take me to the beach in a tuk tuk. Even though it was only 30 meters away, I just could not walk that far. When I went downstairs to go, he was no where to be found. A couple staying at the hotel with their kids, helped me to the pool and then back to the lobby. Luckily they were there as again no staff were around. The next day the owner kindly brought my breakfast to my room and I again said that I wanted to go to the beach. When I went downstairs to the lobby once again there was no staff around. I finally decided to organize a taxi to Mount Lavinia. The driver had to collect my belongings from my room as once again no one was around. I realise that my situation was unique, but there should always be a staff member on site to help guests.

Wir haben phantastisch gegessen, Abendessen und Frühstück. Wir waren aber nur eine Nacht da, weil wir noch weitere Unterkünfte gebucht hatten. Das Personal und die Bedienung waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man geht über einen kurzen Weg direkt zum Strand.

Die Zimmer sind recht hellhörig.
