Hotel Centro's exceeded all of my expectations. The room was newly renovate, large, had a balcony and the quietest heating system ever. The breakfast had lots of options including made to order eggs. The location was by the main church/square on the quieter side of Livigno. The staff did not speak much english but were tremendously helpful with restaurant suggestions and even a bottle opener when I needed as well as packing me a breakfast on a day that I left before breakfast ws set up.

Nothing. Everything exceeded my expectations.

We had a “deluxe double room with bath” and it was fantastic. Very recently refurbished in a modern scandi-alpine style, with a lovely freestanding bath, very comfortable bed & pillows, and plenty of storage. It was always lovely & warm which was appreciated when coming in from the snow. Communication ahead of our visit was prompt and helpful. You can ski in & out which is great. There’s a drag lift immediately behind the hotel, then there’s a small track at the top of that to get to the main chair/bubble lifts. Similarly there’s a track back from the top of the chair lift to the hotel. The tracks can be a bit tricky to find at first but they are there and they are pisted. The hotel is also in a great location for all the shops & restaurants in the town - it’s on the main pedestrianised street. It’s walkable to everything and there are some fantastic restaurants nearby.

There are currently no communal areas to relax and socialise. We were travelling as a couple so it wasn’t a big issue as we just relaxed in our room but we probably wouldn’t come back with friends/family as there would be nowhere in the hotel to socialise with them. It looks like there’s plenty of room on the ground floor to set up a nice lounge area but they’ve prioritised refurbishing the rooms - which is very sensible, but I hope they do the communal areas soon too. A sauna would also be great! Breakfast offered fresh eggs/omelets and cheese/ham which were good, but otherwise the pastries/cereal/bread were quite dry & stale.

Coffee , perfect omelette and fresh cucumbers and lovely cheese served by an awesome young lady. Location is ideal with ski trail (groomed nicely) directly above hotel. I may come back for a ski holiday. Proprietor was on site too which I appreciated.

Die Unterkunft war sehr geräumig, ausgesprochen sauber und modern eingerichtet. Alles war funktional durchdacht, mit zahlreichen Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kleidung und Ski-Accessoires.
