The Springfield Inn by Innkeeper's Collection

The room was a good size with a spacious bathroom. The location was close to a principle road which made it easy to find, yet the hotel was quiet with little traffic noise. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant areas had comfortable seating and pleasant lighting that was not too bright.

The breakfast seemed expensive for the types provided. The meals menu had a meat bias and did not offer much, if anything, for a vegetarian palate.

A noise from outside my window air con or something mechanical (?) mildly irritating, the room was nice and clean but small, as I was on my own it wasn't an issue for me

Not so small that you felt awkward, not so big that you felt part of a large organisation- very friendly staff who were so helpful, great food, comfy traditional bar area. Pretty gardens.

The staff were very polite and courteous. We had an evening meal, which was good. The open fire and leather armchairs made for a cosy and comfortable atmosphere.

The room was ok, bed comfy, but decor a little tired.

Beautiful, cosy, welcoming country Inn. Lovely staff, excellent food. An absolute gem!
