Given the price you pay, the hotel itself is very grand and lavish and would likely be more expensive if it was in a more touristy city. The room is nice and comfortable with good air conditioning. The staff are very courteous and helpful, and the restaurant serves good lunch/dinner, with the garden area a particularly pleasant place to sit.

The breakfast is poor - you basically have a rice and curry or a few limp-looking sandwiches: needs to be more choice available. The room doesn’t get cleaned - in fact our floor looked like it hadn’t been for ages - and there is no hot water in the bathroom. Location not the most convenient for getting around.
