The location is very nice. The staff were super nice and helpful, they made the best out of the situation (no internet due to the election protests).

It was a bit run very run down and not very well maintained. And the advertising is misleading.

I am writing to share my experience during my recent stay at Seles Boutique Hotel, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations. I booked the hotel based on the description of rooms with sea views; however, upon arrival, I discovered that the hotel does not have rooms with sea views at all. Additionally, the scheduled evening events advertised were not held during my stay. There were frequent power outages, leaving guests without electricity during the night and without music for more than six days. Breakfast was the same every day, with no variety offered. The most distressing issue was that I believe a staff member who cleaned my room stole all my money. When I reported this, the owner’s attitude was unhelpful and even hostile. I was taken to the police station and asked to pay for the fuel used by the police. After reporting the theft, my room was not cleaned despite several requests. From that day onward, the owner did not check on me or offer any assistance. This was my third visit to Zanzibar, and sadly, it was the worst experience I have had. I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve your services for future guests.

Me gustó sobre todo que cada día había alguna actividad por la noche, tienen datáfono y puedes pagar con tarjeta aunque te cobren de más por comisión. La comida buena. Y el chico de la barra muy simpático.

En la cama había bichos, entiendo que es normal pero ya al entrar me encontré uno muerto y el último día al despertarme otro. Entonces no me sentí tan agusto con la cama. Las cortinas... Cuando es de día no se ve nada en el interior por el contraste de luminosidad pero por la noche cuando enciendes la luz se ve lo que haces desde fuera. Varias veces entró alguien en la terraza porque se les debía colar la pelota de fútbol. Que por mi ningún problema pero no estaba cómoda.

Bei der Ankunft wurde uns ein Zimmer zugewiesen, in dem die Fenster und Türen nicht richtig dicht waren. Obwohl sehr schnell reagiert und versucht wurde, dieses Problem bestmöglich zu lösen, waren wir damit nicht ganz zufrieden. Von der Rezeption wurde uns ohne Nachfrage sofort ein anderes Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Man konnte sich sein Frühstück selbst zusammenstellen. Hierfür gab es eine kleine Karte. Besonders lecker waren jedoch die frisch zubereiteten Säfte. Auch das Abendprogramm im Barbereich war recht unterhaltsam. Die Cocktails schmeckten gut.

Die Liegen und der Poolbereicht sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Auf den Bilder wirkte alles sehr viel moderner und auch größer. Auch die Freundlichkeit einiger Angestellten ließ teilweise zu wünschen übrig. Hier besteht in jedem Fall Optimierungsbedarf.

O hotel que reservámos inicialmente para a nossa viagem foi cancelado. Ter ficado no The Seles como alternativa foi a melhor coisa que nos aconteceu. O hotel é super acolhedor, com um ambiente familiar incrível. Ficamos num dos bungalows e adorámos: confortável e muito limpo. A comida é excelente, super saborosa. Oferta de pequeno-almoço variado e com alimentos frescos. A localização em frente à praia permite escolher entre a piscina e o mar sem prescindir da vista fantástica. Todos os detalhes do hotel são incríveis, até a playlist do bar. Noites temáticas divertidas e um staff extremamente afável e simpático. Obrigado Eddie, Abdul, Janete, Jacob e restante equipa.
