Acacia Hotel Mbarara

We chose the facility because of its location close to the university. It was a good decision. The facility is very well maintained. It has a very beautiful garden where you can hang out, eat in the restaurant, have a drink. The rooms are spacious, clean. The restaurant serves excellent food. It is quite quiet, even though there is a busy road next door.

The breakfasts are African-style, so they didn't suit me. Why in a coffee-producing country I don't have it available for breakfast, for example, I don't understand. Here you had to pay extra for coffee. The restaurant staff are quite slow, but the food is great. It's a pity that the facility doesn't have any activities like a swimming pool or a gym.

Great location, the place is clean and great breakfast. The staffs are friendly . And it's easily accessible.

Check out time need to be extended atleast to Midday.....10 Am is very early especially for party animals 😂

Good location and receptionist Paul was very friendly and helpful.

The receptionist who checked us in barely spoke to us. She dropped our bags in the room and left without saying anything. Key was left in the door, no information on wifi, breakfast, hot water. Additionally they didn’t clean our room during the day and in the evening they said we had to leave our keys behind if we needed cleaning (another thing the receptionist should have told us upon check in). Moreover on Sunday there was no water from the taps or shower and throughout the whole night there was a bar across the road playing ridiculously loud music that could be heard from all the rooms.

Even after having the confirmed booking, they told us they are fully booked n no room is available.

We were greeted immediately and our luggage shuttled to our rooms. We were given a tour of the facilities and taken to the dining room for dinner. The breakfast spread was exceptional. They have a nice lounge and shaded places to visit. They have conference facilities.
