Hotel Wutzler

Vote located next to a small town, after a long trip arrived at the hotel at 21h30 and was no one at the reception and the hotel was closed, probably due to the coronavirus but never received a message about how to get in. After calling the ring bell they came to open the door. The person at the reception did not speak English, just imagine a spanish person who speaks spanish and English and there was no way to comunícate but in the end we did. Room was simple, traditional but was suitable for the night, it was good value for money overall. The next morning I did check out and the lady at the reception could not speak English also (not again!!!!) asked for an invoice and it took me a while for them to understand. Finally we got there. I travel a lot and I understand lots of things at the hotels but I must say that staff working in hotels they need to speak English (even basic) but in this case did not happen. As a foreigner person passing by in germany I expect some English language for basic comunication. All hotel staff in hotel speak English and should be the case as hotels are visited bu people from all countries not only German.

This was a very nice experience. Normally guests can check in until 00:00 but because of trouble in traffic we arrived at 1:30. We called them several times to update them on our situation and the husband managed to stay awake to let us in. They gave us the keys and took care of the paperwork the next morning so we could get some rest first. Very nice of them. Rooms were just fine. They were clean and good enough for the 2 nights we spent there. Breakfast was very simple but offered everything from meat / cheese / jams / fruit to all kinds of juices and tea / coffee. The restaurant is also very nice and serves GREAT food. Seriously! Once again they were very considerate because their kitchen closes at 20:00 and we arrived at 19:40. We had a delicious meal for a very very good price. That's probably the best part about this hotel in my opinion. The only thing I found weird is how our beds were not made when we returned after a day of work. Not that I'm not willing to do it myself, it's just that I had gotten used to it from other hotel visits.

My family - 2 adults, a boy of 3 and a girl of 9 - stayed here for one night while driving through germany on the autobahn. The hotel is located a few minutes from the autobahn but in quiet surroundings in the small german village Miesitz. We had a spacious doubleroom with a funky heartshaped bed for the grownups and a large doublebed for the children. Enough space for us with a decent bathroom and a view at the garden and farmlands. The room was clean and the madresses were good (i know taste differs..). We had dinner outside in their beergarden with wienerschnitzel, wurst and beer - fine food with no surprises. The breakfast in the morning was ok, with a fair selection of cereals, yoghurts, bread, homemade marmelade, eggs (fried and boiled), cheese and hams etc. The service from the staff, both checkin, checkout and waiters was kind and serviceminded. All in all a good experience after speeding along the autobahn - a calm, serviceminded, clean hotel with good service reasonable priced. Will we be back? Yes, its location to the autobahn is great. Btw: theres a gas-station close by, free wifi, elevator and free parking

I stayed here for a week in June and could not have been happier. The food, service, and location was perfect. Real Germany, not commercialized like Munich and Berlin. The breakfast is fit for a king.

We've been here 2 times in the past 3 years, and have always enjoyed our visit not only at the Hotel but also with Thomas, Eike and family!! ❤ And the FOOD!!! Is better than Great! Every dish we ordered was truly beyond delicious!! Love Hotel Wutzler's!!!

A very pleasant experience! The hotel is convenient to Autobahn A9, but far enough so you do not hear the Autobahn noise. The hotel is quiet, secure, clean, and attractive. The room was fine. They have a nicely decorated interior and exterior, and a comfortable beer garden in front. The staff were very friendly and helpful, although English was not spoken. The restaurant menu was one of the 2 or 3 best I have seen in Germany. They have a very large and varied selection, including pork, beef, veal, lamb, game, turkey, wurst, salads, vegetarian, etc. Many examples of local specialty dishes. The drinks menu took up three pages, with many choices of beer, wine, cocktails, liquor, and non-alcoholic. A nice dessert menu as well. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in this family run hotel for 5 days in June. Although the stay was unplanned we were extremely satisfied with the whole experience.The food was excellent and varied with a selection of local Thuringian dishes. The rooms were very comfortable and well decorated. The hotel has a beer garden and is easily reached from the motorway.
