Mama's place Mirissa

Obwohl wir nur eine Nacht im Mama’s House verbracht haben, fühlten wir uns sofort sehr willkommen und wohl. Die Unterkunft ist sehr einladend, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und gemütlich, sodass wir am liebsten viel länger geblieben wären. Ein perfekter Ort, um sich zu entspannen und einfach mal abzuschalten. Wir können Mama’s House auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und würden beim nächsten Mal gerne länger bleiben!

Amazing location just a few steps from the best part of the beach. The room I stayed in was quite large with a comfortable bed with ocean views. Overall the hotel was good and clean!

I felt for the price I paid the facilities were a bit run down. There was no water included in the room, the lock on the door was quite hard to lock and needs repairing and there was no room cleaning, which is pretty standard for Sri Lanka but I felt for the price I paid it should have included cleaning or fresh towels. Wifi was a bit sketchy but there was different wifi modems to connect to, so overall it was fine but perhaps it’s not best for someone who needs to do lots of work.

It was very near the beach. After a short walk along it, the shops were central. They had their own bar and restaurant attached. Very good.

The people were very kind and caring. The restaurant was delicious and not too expensive and we eat there every morning and nearly every evening.

Everything is new, handmade, clean… Have discounts for outside attractions (looking for whales, diving, surfing… Have good food in restaurant
