Gihan Guesthouse

The room was very comfortable located in a calm location. A few mins of walk from the main road, which makes it very convenient. The staff were also very polite and friendly :) so worth it for the price!

My friends and I left the AC on and they came and switched it off. We had borrowed the iron and the on the day we were leaving the owners had opened our room to take it while we were at breakfast. The owners opening our room without informing was the only concern.

Favourite place we stayed at in Sri Lanka. So clean and air con works great. Hot water always in the shower. The owner is so so lovely and invited us to celebrate new years with her family and have a home cooked meal. 100% recommend and would stay again!

Comfortable beds. Super effective air conditioner. The family was so nice to us! Great value.

We really liked the place, it was comfortable, good value for the money. We had hot water in the bathroom (which is not evident in Sri Lanka) and the in-house laundry was much cheaper then anywhere else. We would return any time.

Very nice manager who organized a whale watching tour for us for less money than we expected to pay. Nice room and bathroom, the surroundings are very beautiful and green.

The hostess were helpful and the dog friendly

The transport booked through the hostess was an old half broken car not making it over 60 km/h so prepare extra time… the driver was nice but didn’t know the way and couldn’t do anything about the status of the car 🙃
