The Pot Kiln

Lovely location. Beautiful views and lots of footpaths closeby. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Great food. Tasteful decor in room. Comfy bed. Nice to be able to soak in the bath after a long day!

Lighting in bathroom was super-bright (would have been nice to have had a dimmer switch maybe!) and I missed having a TV in the room

Fantastic, quiet location, beautiful building and grounds. Staff were all really friendly and helpful, great selection of local brewed beers. Room was really comfortable, nespresso machine was a nice touch, bathroom had heated floors which was great in the morning. Overall, a really pleasant stay will definitely stay again

Lovely and quiet and wonderful staff

Only slight criticism is not enough places to store our clothes - we stayed for a few nights so couldn’t really unpack but probably fine just for a night or two

Countryside location and good food

Breakfast was ok. I had the avocado and poached eggs. It was overpowered by the lemon juice!

The rump steak was a 30 day dry aged piece. It was cooked over a flame but was still a little tough. I asked for some mushrooms to accompany it but this was refused. In the morning there was mushrooms on the breakfast menu! We had room 1. Wouldn’t recommend it as the driveway is gravel and there is an access road. Very noisy with vehicles. Woken up numerous times especially around 6.30am I assume with staff arriving. The room was right over the patio area. There was no tv in the room and so if you go to bed around 10, you have to listen to the guests downstairs until they leave.

El lugar donde está es maravilloso y el personal encantador. El desayuno y la cena buenísima!! El hotel es encantador. Tranquilo y con unas vistas preciosas a unos prados.

Las camas pequeñas para mi gusto. Y solo opcion de cama de matrimonio. A las habitaciones les falta un armario. Pero eran cómodas y espaciosas!
