The room was charming and comfortable. The food was excellent both for dinner and for breakfast. Laura, the proprietor, was friendly and lovely to talk with. We highly recommend this property!

Might be a bit difficult for someone with mobility issues as there is no lift and the stairs to the rooms are a small tight spiral staircase.

Hotel did not have a restaurant bar was empty so lacked a bit of atmosphere in communal areas.

Very conveniently situated for us. Lovely pub and very pleasant staff. The room was compact and clean.

Wasn’t expecting single beds - though I do realise it would be hard to get a double bed in the space available. A chair to sit at the desk/dressing table would be helpful. There was obviously a drain problem with the shower when we stayed - the room really smelled of drains when we came back to it. Realising little could be done late at night we opened the doors and ran the shower for a while to try and displace the smell. Helped a bit but still very unpleasant. We reported the issue in the morning and staff were very apologetic and said they would get it fixed. Hopefully a one off! Overall it was fine, good value and clean.
