Riverside Hotel

Clean, basic room for the night. Had everything I needed for a quick overnight stay

Walls were thin. Unfortunately there was an issue with the TV in the room where it was constantly flickering and unwatchable.

We had to leave early so was able to get a coffee and some toast bonus when leaving early.

The location and staff were wonderful! Room was big enough and neat and tidy.

The bed was a little hard, there’s a lot of light in the room that comes from a light outside that’s on all night long, the bathroom shower was abit mouldy didn’t affect our stay though.

The neal at the pub was good

The rooms are extremely noisy paper thin walls could hear neighbours body functioning movement. The room is very light at night with very bright flood lighting coming through windows, bed was noisy air-conditioning sounded like it was about to take off. Not for us never again.

The accommodation was in quarters at the back of the pub. It was clean and comfortable, and had a TV, bar fridge, kettle and microwave, so it was possible to make your own hot drinks or warm up food. The dining room for guests inside the hotel, to which we were given a key, provided for toast and, tea and coffee and juice in a room with a welcoming vibe. Communal fridge space had a homey feel. The hotel is a proper Aussie pub, with a decent menu, people gathered around the bar, on the verandas and playing pool out the back. It had a welcoming, family friendly atmosphere.

Nothing to dislike. A small suggestion could be to put shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the bathrooms for unprepared guests.
