P7 Palanga

It's a great place with convenience store/wine shop/apotheka right at the entrance or in the next building. Also it's placed above "A-petit" restaurant, my "have-to-go" place for fish soup every time I visit Palanga. Interior has wood panels and looks very comfy. I didn't use it, but it has electric stove, microwave, fridge etc., so you can save some money by making food on your own (though skipping Palanga's restaurants would be a mistake). Check-in and out is fully automated, you get text message with a door code and can use the room right away, no need to get in contact with receptionist. It could be that I was visiting when there were no people, but with windows closed in my room on the third floor I slept in dead silence, no disturbance. I have the impression that sound isolation is very good. Also it's a street next to the Vytauto and Basanaviciaus crossing, so all the restaurants/bars/entertainment are within 5 minute walk. At the same time it's away from main walking routes so it's way quieter.

The only thing I'd like to be improved was the fixed shower head, there's a range limit where you can direct water stream. The showerhead on a hose would make washing feet easier.

The space of the room was quite big and basic amenities were provided. The location of the hotel is quite good, if you come by car you can park for free in nearby grocery store "MAXIMA" parking, yet excluding the beach everything is not that far away - walking distance.

Room had issues with the cleanliness as the majority of the room is covered by carpet and relatively aged fabric furniture there was a lot of dust even visible on some hard surfaces so keep in mind this if you have some allergies. But that is not the only issue as the sheets were stained it seem that they were not washed properly, but the bed covers and the "decorative" pillows (at least the cases) were definitely not cleaned properly (or at all) as they were stained in several places and even had a strange smell. Basically, we were not that picky during our stay on the topic, yet for you to get the picture we still decided to not walk anywhere around the room barefoot.
