The Salty Surf & Yoga

I had to book something last minute, on the day. In August… it doesn’t leave much choice. Easy to find with (free) off-street parking. Great location near beach and beach bars / restaurants, accessible on foot. Friendly staff and occupants but definitely a younger crowd. They had a dinner/drinks deal for dinner that looked good but it had sold out by the time I checked in.

The moment I booked this overpriced bed (71.5euros/ night in a 10-bed dorm) I received messages to upgrade to surf / yoga packages. The front dorm only has a see through curtain, not a block out curtain so you have to try to sleep with street lights and car headlights shining (I was given the bed closest to the window). The bathroom wasn’t very clean. The rest of the facilities looked clean. Breakfast not included. I was disappointed (it doesn’t happen often) as the price didn’t match the quality. It might be better value at other times of the year.

Super relaxing place, well taken care of. Staff is helpful and friendly. Pool are was great for sunbathing and relaxation.

Only stayed one night so not much to add actually.

Wonderful! We spent only one day, but wanna come back and live here))) Tasty food, friendly staff, beautiful view and interier, comfortable room, bed and bathroom. We did nice yoga, bought nice T-shirt, enjoyed everything! Thank you!💛💙🤗

I didn't book the breakfast. I was shooting early in the morning and had no time for it. Next time...

I didn't like to be bombarded with emails before / during / after. I had booked with booking.com which sent an incredible number of mails as well. I had tone of work to wrap, friends in town before departure and found it disruptive. Strangely when I came in, a feeling of peace was finally possible. The bracelet is smart and super convenient. And everyone was lovely.

the location of the hostel is perfect, very close to the beach and all the other facilities

the people in the hostel are very inwards directed, seems like the volunteers are a very close group. however when you have activities and solo travellers, it would be nice if the people working in the hostel would show more interest in the guests and network more.
