We enjoyed the rural setting away from town. Quick ride to the center market.

Hot shower only lasts about 2 minutes (we did not know there is a switch for the shower heater until our 3rd day, still only allowed quick shower time) WiFi is good when it's working, there is a circuit connecting the wifi-water heater-and A/C, which seemed to cycle on/off every few hours, lasting different increments of time. We did not need the a/c in January but that would be unfortunate. Prices for food and services are inflated to other places in India. We gave them our laundry to have washed and they quoted us 7,400INR (100INR per pair of socks!) a laundry service in town had a price list and a a pair of socks was 7IND there. Breakfast is also expensive, although the guys serving breakfast were probably the kindest on the property. Bed was comfortable but linens are old and the mattress smelt of mildew. We stayed 3 nights and they did not offer us new sheets/towels throughout the stay. Smoking in the rooms is allowed, which was unpleasant to say the least as the room next to us was partying until midnight and seemed to be chain smoking with their room doors open to the hall. We had to stuff our door with a towel to keep the second hand smoke at bay. We booked this for my birthday as a nicer resort option, disappointing.
