Arriving to a closed hotel, bar and restaurant. Everything was in darkness. The rooms were dingy. Unlike the photos on Booking.com. False advertising.

The bed was super comfortable, and the sheets were clean and crisp.. There were cereal choices, bread, tea and coffee, toaster etc for breakfast. A big plus for a pub stay. This was the fourth pub I stayed in on my cycling tour.. Michael was super friendly and easy to deal with. As with all country pubs there are things that need fixing. But the basics like cleanliness, clean bedding, clean room and all the amenties were there. Can't ask for more than that.

Nothing really..It's a country pub and so my expectations were met.

It was warm and comfortable. Easy to find and check in. Shower was good. It was a great place for a comfortable stop over.

Food choices in the town were very limited. Very good meal at Sheffield rsl.

No muesli !

The small round table in the room is too small. The room handle and the rear door lock are crying out for some lubrication! The men's shower is nice, it just needs a few more hooks.
