Everything about the place is fine except the broken fan in the room

The broken fan in the room needs to be changed.

beautiful building , needs rooms updating soon . loved the downstairs decor throughout . and staff very welcoming and very helpful . enjoyed the peace and queit

twin beds put together for a double and it moves us apart . breakfast : could offer more and people would pay . need small lamps to work so can turn big lights off.

The price of the room was reasonable upon booking

The room wasn't very clean. I understand that it was a cheap room but we found that there was what looked like dried up sick on the carpet. The curtains had blood on them. We found that there was sky TV in the room but this didn't work, we couldn't even put normal TV on. There was used rolls of toilet roll (at least put fresh rolls in there). We had a big fan in there but it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, it was caked with dust. The window was bad quality, we couldn't open it properly without it sliding back down. The atmosphere was dead, there's only one person working the hotel who worked on reception and had to serve us at the bar too. We had a glass of wine each, which tasted awful for the price we paid. I would not recommend this hotel, even if you wanted something cheap!
