The Lawn Hotel

We went next door to register as requested by a sign but were unhappy with the look of the hotel and grounds. We were upgraded to the Parkside International Hotel which was quite nice.

The Lawn Hotel looked to be unkept and we were met by an older lady in her dressing gown smoking on the front steps, we never went inside.

We have stayed here a few times before and we really like the hotel for many reasons the first one is all the staff are very polite and friendly, the rooms are a great size especially if you have a dog there is loads of room for the dogs bed, and there is the beefeater restaurant just a 5 minute walk away.

Not much we didn't like apart from a guest knocked on our door at 11.45pm and then was talking loudly on his phone and then knocked on another door (the right door I presumed this time) but this is not the fault of the hotel.

Breakfast is always superb, big rooms and comfortable

Easy to find, and plenty of parking for vans.

Heating on, room very warm.
