Hotel D'Angleterre

A lovely rustic hotel in a fantastic quiet location , ideal for close access to the ferry . Hotel presented itself very well, though it was a brief stopover, so no opportunity to check out breakfast . Lovely welcoming staff. Room a nice size and very comfortable beds.

As motorcyclists , not the best choice . Upper floors via narrow spiral staircase a nightmare for carrying bike bags and gear . And we did choose hotel as it had secure parking, which we were asked not to use as leaving early might disrupt other guests . We were allowed to park directly outside front of hotel , but had to secure the bikes just in case. Lack of air-conditioning in summer may be an issue, we left window partially open , and room still very warm.

Dato che non vi è lift il trasporto di bagagli voluminosi e pesanti può presentare un certo disagio. Occorre però considerare la natura storica della struttura

Great location at reasonable price Space for bikes

Nothing really Bit out of season , no bar or place to eat in evening but plenty nearby
