Hotel D'Angleterre

Excellent location. Good value local hotel. Always a bit of a lottery when coming away from the branded chain hotels, but fear not….this one is great.

The only negative observation was the rather tatty looking frontage to one part of the hotel…a bit overgrown and unkempt.

It’s a beautiful property,with very grand reception rooms and a beautiful conservatory over looking gorgeous gardens ! We had a wonderful welcome from the very helpful staff ! Our room was perfect on the ground floor which was great as I have bad knees. It had a very good powerful shower ,everything had been thought of and the twin beds were extremely comfortable The breakfast was great, served in a beautiful room .

Nothing it was wonderful

We had a ground floor room which was ideal as we had our dog with us. The room was spacious and very clean, the bed was really confortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and stay again.

If I was being picky I would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room as only bars and restaurants open when we arrived late at night.
