Beautiful interior design. Rooms are thoughtful with attention to detail. The reception staff weren’t particularly knowledgeable very helpful

Had high expectations for dinner at the restaurant. The waiting staff during our dinner service wasn’t particularly knowledgeable about the menu or ingredients and the food nor staff met our standards. The restaurant itself was beautiful, the barman was lovely and he was still learning about whiskeys (which we hoped for a bit more experience).

This is a very special hotel which has been converted and furnished with superb style and design to exceptional standards. We were upgraded to a two storey cottage which was honestly unbelievable. The restaurant was Michelin standard with every course beautifully presented and wonderful flavours. There is also a great bar and public lounge. We stayed for one night before flying home from Inverness airport but we would love to go back and spend more time. The deputy manager Rafaella and all the staff were wonderful and a credit to the hotel.

Truly a special place. One of a kind. It was intimate and quiet and suited us perfectly. The dining was fantastic, both for a special dinner and the included breakfast. We took advantage of the e-bikes as well. A memorable experience.

Newhall Mains is a true hidden gem in the Scottish Highlands. We were lucky to get an upgrade to a beautiful cottage, which made the experience even more special. Everything feels thougtfully designed and incredibly cosy- especially with the log fire lit in the evening. Pure comfort, style and tranquility.
