Lake front views. In house restaurant and spa. Boat dock is close for water taxis. Love the staff, reception, and masseuses.

We paid a little more for the lake views, which were exceptional. Steps away from the pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, etc. but, the water was turned off at the worst times; one when I was in the shower, hair full of shampoo! Also, our room was next to the restaurant kitchen and next door to another bar that had music. So, every night we tried to go to sleep to the sounds of club music and kitchen staff conversations. Not ideal at all! And the rooms are pretty much like you’re sleeping outside; so if you are a person who needs climate control, this isn’t for you. Maybe their other rooms had it, but our cabana didn’t. That was fine with us. When in Rome…

We had an ant problem in our room, and there is quite a lot of place at night time between the music from both restaurants and being close to town

This hotel was lovely! The staff were very friendly and the food served was incredible!

Our hot water didn't work the first night and so we showered with semi cold water. The next morning we contacted the staff and they came asap to help fix it! Additionally, it was hard to find the hotel once we landed in San Marcos, we had to ask several people for directions…I’d advice contacting the hotel once you land so that a staff member can help you at the doc with luggage’s.

I have never been to a hotel with staff this wonderful. The views are idealic. The restaurant on site was excellent and a good value. We felt at home very quickly. The hotel only has 10 total rooms. We were able to chop it up and meet other guests. A+. Staff always cheerful and helpful! I only have one complaint that is the same at every other hotel I have stayed at around Lake Atitlan. That complaint is the dogs! They are barking all night and here is a disco which can get rather loud. The hotel actually has ear plugs laid out for guests when they checkin.
